maude is looking for a Senior Growth & Retention Manager who will responsible for driving the ecommerce channel by leading retention and acquisition efforts. This role oversees the execution of the brand's website, paid performance media, CRM, and customer experience initiatives. As the subject matter expert, this role is crucial for ensuring the business performance of the direct-to-consumer channel by leveraging customer insights, ad performance, KPIs, tech stack, and marketing execution on the site. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with an external growth agency.

Growth Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with our growth agency to drive paid performance media strategies and KPIs, including SEM, paid social, display, and affiliate marketing.
  • Optimize campaigns through bid management, A/B testing, and performance analysis.

Retention and Loyalty Programs:

  • Design and execute retention initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Oversee CRM and email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers.
  • Utilize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) to optimize retention efforts.

Website and Digital Experience Management:

  • With our developer, lead the management and execution of our overall brand strategy on the company website.
  • Enhance on-site personalization and implement new site functionalities to improve user experience.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure a seamless and optimized site experience.

Analytics and Performance Tracking:

  • Measure and report on KPIs and web analytics to inform strategy and execution.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics and data analysis platforms (e.g., Looker) to generate insights.
  • Share performance insights with team members and leadership to drive business decisions.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Collaborate with social, content, and influencer managers to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Manage relationships with external growth agencies to enhance marketing performance.
  • Promote digital innovation and coordinate with wholesale teams on strategy and content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in beauty or personal care industries preferred.
  • 6-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid acquisition, growth, retention, and CRM/email marketing.
  • Proven track record in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Hands-on experience in building and optimizing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Expertise in campaign optimization, bid management, and A/B testing strategies.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify+).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics and data analysis tools (e.g., Looker).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills to convey campaign performance, insights, and strategies.
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
