Dell Technologies in Austin, TX is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Reliability Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware projects and contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field who are passionate about hardware design and reliability. What you’ll achieve As a Reliability Engineer Intern, you will be part of a team of highly motivated mechanical engineers and strategists who are responsible for defining the future vision of architectures and solutions for Dell client products. We are looking for interns who are comfortable taking accountability and are able to adapt easily to meet the needs of our rapidly evolving business. The ideal intern is customer focused, motivated by results, innovative, works well on a team, and acts with integrity. You will:

• Assist in the development and execution of reliability testing plans for hardware components.
• Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify and resolve hardware issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to improve product reliability.
• Perform data analysis and generate reports to support reliability assessments and decision-making.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on reliability considerations.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in a relevant Engineering field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of hardware design and reliability principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Desirable Requirements
• Fundamentals of statistical analysis
