About Sygaldry

Sygaldry Technologies is building quantum-accelerated AI servers to exponentially speed up training and inference for AI. By integrating quantum and AI, we're accelerating the path to superintelligence, and addressing the problem of rising compute costs and energy bottlenecks. Sygaldry AI servers combine multiple qubit types within a single, fault-tolerant architecture to deliver the combination of cost, scale, and speed necessary for advanced AI applications. We pioneer new domains in physics, engineering, and AI, tackling the hardest challenges with a grounded, optimistic, and rigorous culture. We're looking for individuals ready to define the intersection of quantum and AI and drive its profound global impact.

About the Role

We are seeking a Lab Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of an experimental research laboratory. This role is responsible for ensuring that the lab runs safely, efficiently, and reliably. You will serve as the connective tissue across equipment, facilities, vendors, and personnel—owning everything from procurement and compliance to lab organization and infrastructure. This is a hands-on role that combines operational excellence with technical awareness in a highly dynamic environment.

What You'll Work On

  • Manage day-to-day lab operations, ensuring a safe, organized, and productive environment

  • Manage procurement of lab equipment, components, and consumables, including vendor coordination and inventory tracking

  • Maintain and oversee lab infrastructure: benches, utilities, gas systems, vacuum systems, and general workspace organization

  • Coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment

  • Support researchers with lab setup needs, including space allocation and experiment readiness

  • Develop and enforce lab safety procedures, documentation, and training

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., safety, environmental, institutional requirements)

  • Track and manage shared resources, ensuring availability and uptime of critical equipment

  • Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce friction in experimental workflows

  • Assist with onboarding new team members into the lab environment

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • Experience managing or supporting operations in a laboratory, engineering, or technical environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage many parallel tasks

  • Experience with procurement, vendor management, and inventory systems

  • Familiarity with laboratory infrastructure (e.g., vacuum systems, gas handling, electronics benches, or similar)

  • Working knowledge of lab safety practices and regulatory compliance

  • Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate solutions for equipment and facility issues

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset across diverse teams (scientists, engineers, operations)

  • A proactive, ownership-driven approach—you identify problems and solve them before they escalate
