About the Role

TL;DR: We're building a data platform from scratch and are looking for Full Stack Javascript Engineers to own the customer facing components.

As a Full Stack Javascript Engineer at Summer, you will build the core functionality that powers our website. Your work will be the first thing our customers see and will help make all the work your team members do shine. You’ll be supported by backend and warehouse engineering teams building the systems that connect in, process, and query our customer’s data.

When you join you’ll start working on building interfaces for data connectors, setting up key product functionality such as account management, sharing, organization support, and expanding our querying, charting, and dashboarding tools. We are actively using WASM and lower level Javascript, so if you’re into seeing how far we can push performance and usability in the browser, keep reading!

You're the perfect candidate for this role if:

1. You have a genuine love of web development and have experience building fully interactive, high performance product experiences from scratch.
2. You’re actively curious about the world of data and have thoughts about how people interact with data from both engineering and analyst perspectives.
3. You’re very familiar with Javascript and are comfortable with ditching the library if it leads to a better overall outcome for our customers.
4. Crafting and collaborating on beautiful designs energizes you.
