Spring Health is looking for a Lead, Global Accounts Receivable to join our Accounting team and help support our invoicing and collections processes. The role will be an integral part of our Accounts Receivable team, helping us deliver a first class invoicing experience to our customers. This is a full time position on our team, reporting to the Director, Financial Operations. This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-office presence (approximately 2–3 times per month) required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices across all global regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and customer contract terms.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to align on billing requirements for multinational customers and complex agreements.
  • Lead and oversee the global AR inbox by managing and responding to customer billing inquiries via email and Jira, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Develop and deliver supplemental AR and billing reports that provide transparency into global invoicing and collections activity.
  • Supervise and mentor the AR Specialist, providing guidance, training, and feedback to support their professional growth and ensure accuracy in AR operations.
  • Drive collections efforts globally by following up with customers on overdue invoices, requesting remittance information, and escalating as needed.
  • Review and validate financial data from internal partner teams to confirm accuracy of invoices and revenue recognition for global accounts.
  • Support external and internal audit requests, ensuring timely provision of documentation and adherence to audit standards.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline global AR operations and strengthen cash flow management

What Success looks like in this role:

  • Invoices are issued on schedule and without rework
  • Maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) at or below target with minimal aged receivables over 58 days
  • Customer billing inquiries resolved within agreed timelines
  • Monthly AR reports delivered on time with limited variance to actuals
  • AR Specialist consistently meets SLA tasks with high accuracy and strong engagement

What we expect from you:

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively in a fast-paced environment, with minimal oversight.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment, with a track record of identifying root causes and driving effective solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Expert at managing multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, data integrity, and delivering high-quality work under pressure.

The target base salary range for this position is $76,800 - $96,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
