The Vice President of Strategic Finance and Investor Relations will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the company’s long-term financial strategy, managing investor relations and overseeing corporate development. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with both private and public company experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The position will serve as an individual contributor on investor relations and lead strategic initiatives that align with the company’s vision for growth and shareholder value creation. Additionally, this position will partner closely with business leaders to evaluate and drive new lines of business and high-impact ideas.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our Manhattan office.

What you’ll be doing:

Investor Relations

  • Serve as the company’s primary individual contributor for all investor relations activities, fundraising processes, investor meetings, earnings releases, investor conferences, and shareholder communications.
  • Own our investor presentation; develop and deliver a compelling and consistent narrative about the company’s strategy, performance, and growth prospects to external stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior leadership to maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.

Strategic Finance and Planning

  • Lead the development of the company’s 5-year financial plan and overarching financial strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other key stakeholders to generate and assess big-picture ideas, including new revenue streams, market expansions, and high-growth opportunities.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate and support new lines of business, including conducting financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Provide thought leadership on strategic financial initiatives, including margin expansion, capital allocation, and resource optimization.
  • Stay attuned to market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.

Corporate Development

  • Oversee the corporate development team, driving the strategy, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and other growth initiatives.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Increase Spring Health visibility in the investor community, private and public
  • Make recommendations on financial strategy to increase shareholder value
  • Identify and evaluate new business lines that support growth and sustainability

What we expect from you:

  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with a mix of private and public company experience. Background in strategic finance, investor relations, and corporate development required.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects, with a track record of developing high-performing talent.
  • Business Partnering: Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and drive new lines of business and strategic initiatives.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • Attributes:

    • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in decision-making.
    • Collaborative mindset and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Skills:

    • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, particularly in articulating complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic planning.

The target base salary range for this position is $206,250 - $275,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
