Product Marketing Manager, Government

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for Spire’s Government vertical, with a primary focus on reconnaissance capabilities and satellite-based solutions. This role is critical to positioning Spire Global products for defense, intelligence, and government use cases worldwide. You will collaborate across government sales, product, marketing, product, engineering and business teams to support and execute go-to-market plans, drive demand, and shape product messaging based on market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Own Product Messaging for US Federal as well as Global Government: Develop and continuously refine compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to government buyers, including defense and intelligence agencies.
· Go-to-Market Amplification: Drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new product launches and feature enhancements within the government vertical. Ensure alignment across product, marketing, sales, and executive teams.
· Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market segmentation and analysis,and competitive intelligence focused on reconnaissance, RF sensing, and satellite capabilities. Translate insights into actionable strategy and differentiation.
· Social media, Content & Sales Enablement: Develop high-impact content for spire.com through blogs, case studies, brand campaigns, and sales enablement
assets—including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, and training sessions—to empower global government sales teams and improve funnel conversion.
· Customer & Partner Engagement: Partner with sales to gather field intelligence, understand procurement cycles, and refine buyer personas. Elevate customer stories and use cases that highlight real-world mission success.
· Global Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Space Reconnaissance Product Lead, US Sales Team Lead and Rest of the world Sales leader to ensure synchronized global messaging and strategic alignment across key regions.
· Launch & Campaign Execution: Coordinate with brand and demand gen teams to execute targeted launch campaigns and thought leadership in key defense and government channels.
· Partnership Support: Support the onboarding of Spire onto government sales platforms with all Spire offers, brochures, catalogues, drive visibility through these partnerships in target markets.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of product marketing, solution marketing, or strategy experience, ideally within aerospace, defense, or government technology sectors
· Proven success in marketing to government customers (e.g., DoD, intelligence community, space agencies)
· Experience with reconnaissance, satellite communications, Earth observation, or RF sensing is a strong plus
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with technical teams
· Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
· Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for government audiences
· Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
· Previous Military or Government 'Public Affairs' experience would be a plus.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Final base salary for this role will be based on the location, skills, experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for annual equity awards and our employee benefits program, including vacation, sick, and personal time off; optional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a 401(K) plan; health and wellness reimbursement program; and participation in Spire’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
