Responsibilities

3+ years of experience Optimize data pipeline architecture for large, complex data sets. Effectively scale our needs for data delivery in a rapid, high growth environment. Assist in the development of statistical and machine learning models for e-sports performance prediction. Analyze metrics related to wagering behavior and performance to identify potential amendments to existing models in deployment. Develop applications for internal dissemination of results from data science projects. Assist in playtesting of models and exploration of potential new games’ data structures. Collaborate with Developers and Product team members on initiatives to drive user growth and retention.

Requirements

BS/BA in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field of study. Strong programming proficiency in R, additional proficiency in Python is desirable as well. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency using SQL (ideally PostgresSQL). Experience developing Shiny applications. Familiarity with implementation of REST APIs. Experience using Docker.

Nice to Haves

Familiarity with Node. Passion for gaming and working with e-sports data. Knowledge of wagering and / or trading concepts and terminology.
