We are a fast-growing portfolio of brands in the home category looking to bring on a Director of Lifecycle Marketing to oversee Lifecycle across the full portfolio of our brands. In this newly created position, you will be the driving force behind the development and execution of retention strategies across our multifaceted brands, predominantly email and sms. Your strategic prowess will enhance customer experiences, boost retention rates, and optimize customer lifetime value. You will play a pivotal role in shaping customer loyalty and brand affinity by conceptualizing and overseeing targeted communication journeys and engaging campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies aligned with overarching company goals and brand identities.
  • Lead a team in planning, creating, and executing end-to-end email and SMS campaigns, tailoring strategies for distinct customer segments and brands.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, including e-commerce, design, content, and growth, to ensure seamless campaign execution and brand consistency.
  • Employ advanced segmentation techniques to refine customer databases, leveraging behavioral data, preferences, and engagement history for hyper-personalized messaging.
  • Champion A/B testing methodologies to iterate and optimize campaign elements, such as subject lines, content, and calls-to-action.
  • Monitor and analyze critical performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and customer engagement, providing strategic insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations, steering strategies towards achieving and surpassing KPIs.
  • Remain at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and emerging CRM, email marketing, and SMS marketing technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or related roles within a customer-centric environment.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing impactful CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies that have substantially increased customer engagement and retention.
  • Track record of managing multiple brands or products concurrently, showcasing strategic adaptability across various audience segments.
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo and other email marketing tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data, shaping strategies accordingly.
  • Superlative written communication skills, epitomizing brand voice and excellence in messaging.
  • Strategic thinker capable of balancing overarching vision with hands-on execution.
  • SMS marketing champion and its integral role in driving customer engagement.
  • Adept project manager with superior organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and managing timelines.
  • Collaborative leader adept at fostering teamwork across departments and communicating with efficacy.
  • Innate creative problem-solver, driven by innovation and proactive problem-solving.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $145,000 depending on level, experience and qualifications of the candidate. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievement of target performance metrics.
  • All employees receive equity in the form of vesting stock options.
  • Other benefits include company-sponsored health insurance, company-paid dental insurance, a generous PTO policy (20 days of vacation, 5 days of sick leave, plus company-paid holidays), as well as a company-sponsored 401(k) plan. We also provide an employee discount on products from Pattern's portfolio of brands.
