A World-Changing Company
Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.
The Role
We're looking for a Communications Operations Analyst to join a cross-functional group of creatives who are responsible for communicating Palantir's work and values. Our mandate is broad, and you'll work on projects that span internal, external, and client communications as you contribute to the development of Palantir's global communications strategies.
Working across a range of workstreams, you will be responsible for supporting projects spanning Employee Experience, External Conferences and Events, and Customer Experience. As the operational backbone on key programming initiatives, you will own operational processes across the workstreams you support. You’ll track and stabilize projects, remove roadblocks, and anticipate business stakeholders’ needs in order to enable your creative counterparts to be as productive and impactful as possible. You are a person who loves fixing problems and embraces the best idea, even when it is not your own. The Communications Operations Analyst role and its surrounding organisation aren't rigidly defined, so it's important that you can navigate an unstructured environment with savvy and pick up new skills along the way.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own operational workflows for Communications Teams across Palantir, being an owner of operational workflows spanning new hire onboarding, external meetings, as well as conferences and events.
  • Coordinate logistics for our Communications workstreams, including booking rooms, calendaring, and de-conflicting schedules, across all of our offices in the UK and globally with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Book travel arrangements (domestic and international).
  • Help plan, support, and complete internal events and external gatherings.
  • Work directly with external stakeholders, as well as internal teams (e.g. Legal, Data Protection, Information Security, Finance, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Recruiting, etc.) to coordinate the full life cycle for event logistics, contracts, and payments.
  • Research and onboard new resources to scale team’s reach.

What We Value

  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills. You should be able to anticipate challenges and complications, multitask in a rapidly-changing environment, and use good judgement in making appropriate tradeoffs when executing on competing priorities.
  • A creative approach to project management centered around lightweight frameworks that enable rapid iteration and low-overhead methods of keeping our partnering teams informed.
  • Strong attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key project metrics and reporting.
  • Experience with project and event management software; proficiency with Jira and Splash is a plus.
  • Experience with procurement platforms; proficiency in Coupa and Docusign is a plus.

What We Require

  • Experience with project and event management software; proficiency with Jira and Splash is a plus.
  • Experience with procurement platforms; proficiency in Coupa and Docusign is a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in an operational role.
