The Role
Palantir’s impact and productivity in the US Government (USG) space depends on our ability to provide world class Information Systems (IS) to Palantirians. As an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) you will support our end users. You are an analytical problem solver and enjoy troubleshooting issues and finding creative technical solutions. You will make data-driven decisions ensuring that we build systems that resolve and proactively address common issues before they impact end users. You automate yourself out of mundane tasks to focus on making a larger impact. You have strong customer service skills and a customer-first approach.

Core Responsibilities

  • Onboard new users, and conduct windows desktop support.
  • Working with and managing Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM.
  • Ensure compliance of current Information Assurance (IA) policies, concepts, and audit our ACAS scans.
  • Stage and deploy updates leveraging windows tools.
  • Continuously improve user workstation experiences through OS and application optimizations, automation, and streamlined processes.
  • Primary escalation point for other IATs.
  • Review of technical issues is needed and will attempt to resolve or work with the Technical SME on next steps.

What We Value

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with windows user support. Additional Linux experience a plus.
  • Ability to use the Secure Host Baseline to build, manage and deploy window desktop images.
  • Coding/scripting fluency in at least one language, and a commitment to automating solutions.
  • Experience with information security frameworks such as device encryption, anti-virus tooling, digital certificates, security policies etc.
  • Familiarity with fundamentals such as AD, DNS, DHCP, firewall, and PKI.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs.

  • Active US clearance - TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
