About the Role

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Business Analyst, Commercial to deliver high-quality analytics, reporting, and insights that power client success and commercial decision-making. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll partner with Client Success, Sales, Product, Data/Analytics Engineering, and Operations to ensure our enterprise clients have accurate, actionable data. Your work will span dashboard development, ad-hoc analysis, and data quality improvements—enabling stakeholders to self-serve insights without compromising accuracy or compliance.


You Will

  • Own client-facing reporting and analytics delivery for QBRs, renewals, and expansion efforts, including engagement, outcomes, utilization, and program performance insights
  • Deliver high-impact ad-hoc analyses for Sales, Client Success, and leadership, translating ambiguous questions into clear metrics, queries, and actionable outputs
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Looker dashboards and explores, improving usability through standardized definitions, intuitive design, and clear documentation
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by proactively validating dashboards, managing changes in upstream data, and performing regression checks
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in partnership with Data/Analytics Engineering, identifying root causes and clearly communicating outcomes to stakeholders
  • Support operational analytics across billing, eligibility, and partner reporting requirements, while driving scalability through standardization, automation, and documentation


About You

You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in business or data analytics, ideally in healthcare, benefits, or B2B SaaS environments
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and debugging complex datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Looker or similar BI tools, building dashboards and stakeholder-facing reports
  • Proven ability to translate complex, ambiguous questions into clear analyses and actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain methodologies and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with healthcare data (e.g., eligibility, enrollment, outcomes, or claims concepts) is a plus
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and data quality practices
  • Experience supporting Client Success or Sales workflows (e.g., QBRs, renewals, expansion analytics) preferred
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ticketed environment (e.g., Jira) with shifting priorities

Compensation Package

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000-$129,000.
    • This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position for US-based candidates, at the time of posting. The actual salary offer is based on factors including relevant experience and training, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, and location, among others.
  • Other elements of Noom’s Compensation Package
    • Noom offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package. This generally includes a discretionary performance-based bonus, stock awards, healthcare, disability & retirement benefits, paid holidays and paid leave, and various wellness programs, etc.


Location

  • This position is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week on-site required in our New York, NY, USA office
