The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will help grow and run Midas's distribution engine. You will help expand the reach of mTokens by establishing and scaling commercial relationships with the platforms that move institutional and retail crypto capital: exchanges, custodians, wallets, defi protocols and fintechs.
Working closely with the company leadership, you will play an active role in identifying new opportunities, managing partner relationships, and supporting integrations from first conversation through launch. Your Key Responsibilities
- Build the pipeline: Identify, engage, and qualify high-potential partners across exchanges, wallets, DeFi protocols, fintechs, and other distribution channels.
- Drive deals forward: Manage the day-to-day progression of partnership opportunities, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining momentum, and helping move deals from first conversation to launch.
- Grow strategic relationships: Support key partner accounts by ensuring clear communication, strong execution, and ongoing collaboration. Identify opportunities to deepen integrations, expand collaboration, and drive more TVL.
- Own CRM discipline: Maintain accurate pipeline data, track partnership progress, and uphold high standards of CRM hygiene, reporting, and commercial planning.
- Represent partners internally: Work closely with product, legal, marketing, and operations to ensure partners are heard, launches run smoothly, and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Stay ahead of the market: Track developments across crypto, DeFi, tokenization, and competitors. Turn market intelligence into actionable ideas for GTM, positioning, and partnership development.
- Contribute to growth: Bring forward new ideas, spot opportunities before others do, and help execute initiatives that accelerate adoption, distribution, and TVL growth.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or growth, ideally within a high-growth crypto or fintech company.
- Strong interest in crypto and capital markets, with a solid understanding of stablecoins, DeFi, and tokenized assets.
- First proven commercial wins, whether through revenue generation, business development initiatives, or account growth.
- High ambition, strong work ethic, and the drive to go the extra mile in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to operate independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling messages
- Existing network within crypto, digital assets, or financial services is a strong advantage
- Based in London or willing to relocate, with flexibility to travel internationally as needed
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
