In this hands-on role, you will ensure that all building systems—including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and cleanroom infrastructure—operate safely and efficiently. You will also support equipment installations, facility improvements, and layout changes to meet evolving operational needs. This position is highly collaborative, working closely with cross-functional teams to keep our spaces running seamlessly.

What you’ll do

  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of major equipment to ensure optimal functionality and seamless integration with the manufacturing process. This includes infrastructure related to the equipment, such as deionized water systems, acid waste neutralization systems, process gases and chemicals, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Participate in construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, including build-outs and decommissioning of facilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive maintenance programs, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal disruption of production.
  • Diagnose maintenance issues, perform repairs, equipment overhauls, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Contribute to facility layout changes, including planning and overseeing the physical movement and rearrangement of machinery.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, report accidents and injuries promptly, and actively participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Ability to update stakeholders on project progress and manage vendor relations
  • Assist with emergency and routine facility operations to ensure seamless coordination and execution of tasks.

The experience you bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Facilities Operations, preferably in semiconductor, manufacturing, biomedical science facilities, or a similar environment
  • Proficient understanding and experience with cleanroom standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 14644, GMP)
  • Hands-on experience with cleanroom facility systems, including but not limited to process cooling water, deionized water, compressed dry air, exhaust/scrubber systems, process gases, and chemicals.
  • General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as general building maintenance practices
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for various facility-related issues
  • Excellent understanding and application of safety standards
  • Customer-centric approach with a proactive, on-the-ground attitude tailored for the demands of a factory environment

It’s exciting if you also have

  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and automated control systems
  • Skilled in coordinating and overseeing external contractors and vendors
  • Advanced or technical degree in electrical, mechanical, plumbing disciplines, controls, etc.
