As a Purchasing and Receiving Coordinator at Lynk, you will be a critical part of our supply chain team, ensuring the smooth acquisition and flow of parts, components, and equipment vital to building and operating our space-based communication systems. You will wear many hats - from working closely with engineering and manufacturing leads to ensure accurate documentation to timely material tracking, working with vendors to generate and execute purchase orders, to assisting with general office operations, and organized receiving of incoming hardware. Your attention to detail will help maintain smooth operations across hardware, testing, and production workflows. Your work will directly support engineering, integration, and launch teams, helping us deliver technology to orbit faster and more efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

Because Lynk is a small and agile company, the Purchasing and Receiving Coordinator will work across multiple teams and domains, including engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and business operations.

● Support and execute all procurement activities related to space-grade hardware, electronic components, test equipment, mechanical assemblies, and general office supplies.

● Ensure that all relevant records for received items are kept to support compliance with export control regulations

● Work closely with engineering and integration teams to understand project needs, forecast material requirements, and ensure timely ordering of parts and components. ● Receive incoming materials, inspect shipments for accuracy and quality, and document any discrepancies.

● Maintain detailed inventory records and assist in managing stock levels using inventory management systems.

● Coordinate return material authorizations (RMAs), repairs, and replacements as needed. ● Ensure all procurement and receiving documentation is organized, complete, and audit-ready.

● Prepare and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and shipping documentation. ● Track incoming shipments, liaise with shipping carriers, and ensure timely delivery. ● Collaborate with finance on vendor invoicing and expense reconciliation. ● Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and receiving processes.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, business operations, or a related field.

● 2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, receiving, or a similar role in a hardware or manufacturing environment—experience with aerospace or electronics is a plus.

● Experience working with MRP/ERP or inventory management software. ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

● Familiarity with electronics components and part specifications is a strong plus. ● Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Google Workspace is a bonus.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
