Responsibilities:
- Building a strong QA team to drive end-to-end testing of our Software products
- Leading the QA team to develop and execute the large set of end-to-end test cases arising from the combination of products, SW releases, branches/versions, etc.
- Working closely with product management, Software/Hardware engineering, deployment, Ops, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring the Quality and Reliability of our product ecosystem
- Ensuring the timely release of features
- Increasing the speed of delivery via automation
- Leading weekly Product KPI/Data review
- Assisting with Customer Support Escalations - IRP (Issue Response Process)
- Coordinating the different types of testing covered:
- Functional
- Stress / Reliability
- Cycle
- Real World / Fuzzy
- Interop
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience or Master's degree and 7+ years experience in software quality assurance
- Ability to build a team and stay on top of the QA organization
- Experience with both manual and automated QA
- 3 years of experience leading Software QA (distributed teams is a plus)
- English and Spanish proficiency are a must. Being a remote team we favor asynchronous written communication; it's important you can communicate your ideas clearly as you will be interacting with other non-native English-speaking coworkers.
- Work from anywhere, with at least 4 hours overlap with Eastern Time (UTC-4)
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly; there will be many uncertainties and questions that will come up and part of your job will be to do the research, present options, and execute.
