About the Role:

Latch is seeking a highly creative and talented Sr. Product Designer to join our team. The Sr. Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design and user experience efforts, ensuring our digital products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to support design decisions.
  • Solve complex design problems by considering multiple perspectives and innovative solutions.
  • Participate in the iterative design process of your team's initiatives, from research/discovery to the final user interface.
  • Present design ideas and concepts to the team, effectively communicating design principles and solutions.
  • Conduct user testing and use an iterative approach to continuously improve the user experience.

Requirements:

  • Extensive and proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar senior role.
  • Robust portfolio showcasing design UX projects, particularly in web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of interaction patterns, accessibility, and best practices for user interface design.
  • Experience working with design systems, contributing to the construction and maintenance of components and their guidelines.

General requirements

  • English proficiency is a must. you must communicate your ideas clearly as you will be interacting with other non-native English-speaking coworkers.
  • Work from anywhere, with at least 4 hours overlap with Eastern Time (UTC-4)
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly; there will be many uncertainties and questions that will come up and part of your job will be to do the research, present options, and execute.
