About the Role

You will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a temporary remote position up to 40 hours per week based on business needs. The Provider Enrollment Specialist supports the payor relations and provider enrollment function by completing and tracking provider enrollments, maintaining accurate provider data, and assisting with payor-related administrative workflows. This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a career in healthcare operations, managed care, or credentialing.

Responsibilities

Provider Enrollment & Maintenance

Prepare, submit, and track provider enrollment applications with commercial, fertility, and IPA payors
Maintain provider demographic and enrollment data across payor portals and internal systems
Monitor enrollment status and follow up on outstanding applications as needed
Support revalidation and re-credentialing activities

Documentation & Data Management

Collect, organize, and maintain required provider documentation (licenses, malpractice, certifications, etc.)
Ensure accuracy and completeness of provider records
Identify and escalate missing or inconsistent information

Payor & Internal Coordination

Communicate with payors, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding enrollment status
Respond to routine payor inquiries and requests for additional information
Partner with credentialing and contracting teams to support onboarding timelines

Additional Duties

Assist with the preparation, submission, and tracking of hospital privilege applications to ensure providers meet facility requirements.

Perform other administrative and operational tasks related to credentialing and enrollment as assigned

Motivated to grow into more advanced enrollment or managed care roles

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Exposure to healthcare operations, provider enrollment, billing, or managed care
Familiarity with payor portals and enrollment applications
Experience working with provider data or healthcare documentation
