About the Role

As an experienced SVP, RCM reporting to our Chief Financial Officer you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a full time remote position with about 20% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the revenue cycle management strategy for fertility aligning with overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the financial health of the fertility services.
  • Lead and manage a team of revenue cycle professionals, including billing, coding, collections, Pre Cert, VOB and Financial Navigation,
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Analyze and streamline revenue cycle processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure optimal revenue capture and timely reimbursement.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue capture, minimize denials, and optimize reimbursement rates for fertility services.
  • Monitor payer contracts and negotiate favorable terms to ensure fair and timely reimbursement.
  • Stay current with healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and billing requirements specific to fertility services.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as industry standards, to minimize risk and avoid penalties.
  • Evaluate and implement revenue cycle management software and technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to integrate systems and data for seamless revenue cycle processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms to monitor revenue cycle performance, identify trends, and present actionable insights to leadership.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to enhance revenue cycle processes and financial outcomes.
  • Work closely with clinical, administrative, and financial departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the organization.
  • Collaborate with payers, providers, and external partners to resolve billing and reimbursement-related issues.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on fertility services.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and regulations specific to fertility services.
  • Proven track record of successfully optimizing revenue cycle processes, enhancing financial performance, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using revenue cycle management software and technology tools.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align revenue cycle goals with overall organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and stakeholders.
