Your Role and Impact

HYPR is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with in-depth knowledge of internals and operations of one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, MAC OS, and/or Linux.

Your experience includes software deployed to thousands of users in an enterprise context. Any experience with credential providers, Certificate Management, Active Directory Services is welcomed.

The right candidate is a results-driven self-starter who can take initiative, research areas of new development and formulate a step driven action plan to reach the outcomes of our solution.

General Requirements:

  • 10+ years of software development experience on Windows and/or macOS
  • Excellent programming and debugging skills in C/C++, C#, and Objective-C
  • Experience troubleshooting customer issues using log files
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Windows and/or macOS internals
  • RESTful APIs and network communication with HTTP/HTTPs and TCP sockets
  • Familiarity of cryptography standards (e.g. RSA, EC, DH, AES, etc.)
  • Experience with Git-Flow and tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, JIRA, etc.

Windows Experience/Skills:

  • Development in C# (.NET managed code) C/C++ (unmanaged code) and Windows authentication (credential providers, SSPs, Kerberos, NTLM, etc.)
  • Window NT services and interprocess communication (WPF, named pipes, etc.)
  • Windows Active Directory
  • Windows Win32 APIs
  • Microsoft Visual Studio and additional tools (WinDbg, WiX, NUnit, etc.)
  • Experience building installers and working with enterprise delivery mechanisms.

macOS Experience/Skills

  • Development in Objective-C and C/C++
  • macOS authentication (authorization plugins + CryptoTokenKit + PAM modules)
  • macOS Launch Daemons, Launch Agents and interprocess communication (XPC, domain sockets, etc.)
  • Graphical user interface development with storyboards, view controllers, etc.
  • Development with frameworks (authorization, keychain, etc.)

Additional Information

  • Full Time Opportunity: Yes
  • The core meeting hours for this position are from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Attendance is required for meetings scheduled between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. These meetings may be attended remotely via Zoom. Outside of these scheduled meetings, working hours are flexible.
  • This position is a hybrid role. Employees are required to work in the office a minimum of two days per week—specifically Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The remaining workdays offer flexible remote options.
