Your Role and Impact
We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Management with a strong sense of strategic and customer driven insights along with an appreciation for the challenges of deploying mission critical infrastructure at scale. In the role, you will bring your experience through this accelerating and expansive stage of growth where being nimble and strategic are equally important for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Take the reins of our product team guiding product managers, UX designers, and engineering feature teams to bring Passwordless authentication technology to everyone. You will own the product roadmap, recommend and guide the strategy of the business, improve the framework for how we make decisions, and streamline communication and transparency
- You’ll organize and facilitate the HYPR customer advisory board meetings on a regular basis, along with ad hoc customer roadmap meetings and executive business reviews along with coaching your team to represent HYPR and their roadmap in the best light
- You’ll have the opportunity to expand and shape an end-to-end solution which encompasses web-based, mobile apps & SDKs, and endpoint software solutions.
- You’ll further operationalize with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our product roadmap is created in a collaborative way and that changes are fully understood
- You’ll leverage your process and foundational experience to deliver capabilities with agility, speed and high-quality
- You’ll hire, coach, and grow our expanding Product Team members and their responsibilities
Requirements
- 10+ years Leading Product Management within SaaS based companies
- Demonstrated ability building and leading product management teams from 5 to 20+ professionals
- Experience within Cyber Security, Identity & Access Management industry experience is preferred
- Experience with Mission-critical products which require 99.999% uptime
- Experience at one or more startups having seen growth through critical stages
- Experience developing and launching products within Cloud-Native, SaaS, Enterprise models is a must
- Appreciates the tradeoffs necessary between delightful user experiences vs security, and finding ways to deliver both
- Experience delivering a product led growth experience leveraging product data across several personas, including: CISOs, developers (mobile & web), IAM administrators, end-users, and help desk personnel.
- BA/BS degree or higher
- Experience driving and adapting to standards body efforts. A big plus would be familiarity with the FIDO Standards
- Proven track record of success managing full lifecycle of product definition through delivery

This position is hybrid - at least 3 days a week at our NYC office.

OTE (on-target earnings): $250,000 - $275,000 (USD)
On-target earnings (OTE) is the total compensation an employee can expect to earn if they meet their performance targets. It's a projected salary that includes an employee's base salary plus their variable pay.
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes meaningful equity, benefits, and other opportunities at HYPR. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other HYPRions. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at HYPR to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
