What’s the role about?
Based out of Christchurch and reporting to the Team Leader - Business Development, this role is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and relationship management across a portfolio of dealers, partners, and clients throughout the South Island, driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
The successful candidate will build and maintain strong partnerships, deliver training and compliance support, and identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
Build and strengthen dealer, partner, and client relationships across the South Island.
Drive engagement by ensuring partners understand products, complete training, and meet compliance standards.
Deliver hands-on training and support to dealer staff to enhance product knowledge and customer experience.
Collaborate with Product Manager and Sales leadership to implement product updates and improvements.
Drive growth by identifying opportunities and delivering on sales targets.
Achieve portfolio sales targets and maintain strong performance metrics.
Monitor and review sales results regularly, providing timely updates to leadership.
Contribute to projects through sharing insights from partners, and supporting product development initiatives.
About You
Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales leadership.
Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on customer experience and compliance.
Ability to manage priorities and work independently while contributing to team success.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Familiarity with automotive industry products and regulatory requirements preferred.
