This job is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.

This role is based at our Irving, TX location with a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 5:45AM to 4:15PM.

What will be my duties and responsibilities be in this job?

  • Working knowledge of Oracle shop floor systems

  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor

  • Work with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goals

  • Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues

  • Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues

  • Foster a safe, organized, and efficient work environment through 5S principales

  • Work with supervisor to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor as a result from the audits

  • Perform on-the-job (OJT) refresher training and workstation assessment

  • Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for specific area of responsibility

  • Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and escalate any issues/concerns to supervisor when needed

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees

  • Must be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leading

  • Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings

  • Generate daily exception reports and analyze trends to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to investigate and resolve issues

  • Act as a liaison between Logistic partner, receiving, inventory, and quality assurance teams to ensure proper workflow is achieved

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Strong team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent time management and detail-oriented skills

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse receiving or inventory control, with at least 1 year in a lead or specialist role

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Power BI, and Teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • Occasional: Bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, exposure to changes in temperature, being near moving machinery, and office machinery.

  • This position requires incumbents to regularly sit at a desk and operate standard office equipment such as a computer and bar scanner

  • Employee is occasionally required to stand and walk, lift, carry and/or move up to 40 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

  • Ability to talk and hear

  • Required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or

Pay Range:

$ 16,95 - $ 27,12

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
