The Associate Disposition & Pricing Analyst supports the Canadian AVR team by handling pricing activities for Assurant Canada’s online sales platform and marketplaces, as well as enhancing the value and efficiency of the Canadian Sales Organization by transforming raw data into actionable insights through the design, implementation and maintenance of new reports, tools and dashboards.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days working onsite at our Mississauga facility.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Execute the daily/weekly pricing and clearing activities for all items listed on Assurant Canada’s online sales platform

• Execute the daily/weekly pricing activities for all items listed in online third-party marketplaces

• Collect, analyze and transform pricing and disposition data into performance management reports, tools and dashboards which are maintained and distributed to stakeholders on a daily/weekly/monthly cadence

• Perform routine operational and analytical tasks to support pricing initiatives, inventory management and new business opportunities

• Prepare ad hoc reports on sales performance, market trends or other pricing/disposition functions for internal stakeholders

• Collect, organize and make recommendations for RMA/Credit resolution for sales on Assurant Canada’s online sales platform

• Maintain accurate records of pricing decisions and inventory updates

• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, finance, accounting, supply chain management, business intelligence, business analytics or related fields is desired

• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel and other modern reporting tools with the aptitude to work with large data sets

• Ability to write queries in SQL in a production environment

• Strong analytical mindset with a history of delving into problems to uncover insights and drive effective outcomes

• Good problem solving and investigation skills

• Ability to provide detailed and thorough analysis with consistency and accuracy

• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with peers and the AVR management team

• Comfortable with change and ambiguity

• Very high attention to detail

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Experience writing queries in SQL in a production environment

• Experience creating reports in PowerBI in a production environment

Pay Range:

$58,800.00 - $97,100.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
