Assurant is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven Assistant Vice President (AVP), Account Management to lead a high-performing team within our Lender-Placed Insurance business unit. This leader is pivotal in driving client satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational excellence. The AVP will be instrumental in developing talent, strengthening client partnerships, and aligning service delivery with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers and Account Executives supporting a portfolio of key client relationships.

  • Foster strong, long-term client relationships focused on retention, satisfaction, customer experience, innovation, and service expansion.

  • Develop and execute annual business plans and client review strategies to meet shared revenue and performance goals.

  • Partner with Leadership to support RFP responses and strategic client initiatives.

  • Partner with Operational and Product Management to ensure adherence to service level metrics and overall client performance.

  • Oversee end-to-end service delivery, including onboarding of new clients, product implementations, and ongoing performance management.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.

  • Champion change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client outcomes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to align with client needs and business priorities.

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for client executives, maintaining strategic alignment and trust.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for additional revenue through value-added services beyond standard agreements.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in account management or a related field, including at least 2 years of leadership experience, either direct or cross-functional

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage servicing industry, specifically in Insurance and Escrow

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen with a proven record in client relationship management.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

How much travel will be required?

  • Up to 25% annual travel

Pay Range:

$141,400.00 - $236,100.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
