The Associate Quality Engineer will support Quality and other

departments with the collection, maintaining, reporting of data. The Associate

Quality Engineer supports process and product quality by using quality tools to

drive improvements and will support all aspects of process and product quality.

This is an onsite role at our DCC in Irving, TX

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Compliance with customer requirements and assist implementing ISO 9001: 2015

• Developing and implementing quality standards.

• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.

• Inspecting and testing equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specs are met.

• Collaboration with department managers/supervisors developing &

• implementing controls and improvements.

• Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.

• Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

• Developing and implementing necessary work instructions, job aids, or training materials and process and product deviations.

• Identify new or potential quality issues through audits, projects, or other methods.

• Assist with development and deployment of 5s.

• Strong ability to interact with senior leadership and customers and communicate issues when found.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• 0-1 year of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, quality
  management or quality related role.

• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies preferred

• Understanding of statistical tools preferred

• Knowledge of process improvement tools such as A3, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.

• Experience with strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in quality, industrial, engineering, or related field or related experiences

• ASQ certifications preferred.

Pay Range:

$63,400.00 - $105,800.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
