EU Implementation Manager & Business Analyst

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Implementation Director Europe, this is an exciting opportunity to join the EU Implementation team and support Assurant Europe in driving improvement change across our business from idea stage to delivery.

You will pro-actively communicate and collaborate with the primary Assurant business solutions, project and operational stakeholders to initially define and detail - supporting or leading - the production of project documentation such as Customer Journey’s, Business Process Maps, UML Sequence Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and different types of Functional Requirements / Use Cases / Features;

And ultimately support the Assurant business in delivering value add change across our Southern and Central Europe business units, working with all company partners and our clients to ensure outstanding service which includes supporting the Business Product Owner to achieve non-functional requirements and supporting the Agile scrum teams with implementation tasks including Business Readiness

You will manage and implement different sized programs that span over one or more lines of Business and Agile Scrum Teams. This will include following the appropriate implementation framework for building, and reporting ensuring all important partners are kept informed at an appropriate level, acting as a trusted Project Manager throughout the full project lifecycle.

This role will have a primary focus on Business Change initiatives approved by the appropriate Assurant Board, covering:

• On-boarding of new clients

• Performance, Process & Regulatory improvements

• Improvements within current Client services

• Product Development

• Facilitating Continuous Improvement in the business

You Will Have:

• Higher Education in Business / Economics / IT disciplines
• SAFe 5.0 Scaled Agile Framework knowledge
• Experience of working within projects/change on Insurance, Finance, Telecom or Supply chain delivery preferable
• Good experience of delivering concurrent and often complex software-enabled projects into a pan-European landscape, working with Global Enterprise Resources to achieve success
• Fluency in English and Spanish as minimum, with added language skills in Italian and / or German welcome but not essential
• Strong, diverse documentation skills, ensuring all requirements captured are clear, concise and appropriate for a cross-functional Business & Technical audience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio skills highly beneficial)
• Ability to communicate complex business requirements in a non-technical and simple way that encourages cross-functional advocacy both internally across the Assurant Solutions Business and externally (Clients/3rd Parties etc)
• Strong Project Management skills (MS Project skills are advisable) with proven experience of working within Project/Change in Global/Regional delivery environment
• Excellent presentation, communication & stakeholder management skills, including influencing & negotiation skills
• Highly organized, with a flexible approach to work, ability to multi-task effectively and excellent attention to detail
• Positive and pro-active mindset, with a willingness to continually stretch themselves and develop their skill set and career
• Willingness to go above and beyond – and inspire their project teams to do the same – to deliver high quality, value-adding projects on time, within cost
• Must thrive in an open, challenging and supportive environment with a determination to succeed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting tight deadlines while multitasking
