Operations Lead, Quality Systems

The Quality Systems Lead will execute tasks within a variety of quality and training related programs. A keen focus on quality is paramount, and this person will be instrumental in coordinating a quality-focused operation. Programs include: Training, Document Control, Internal Auditing, Information Analysis, and Other programs under the scope and leadership of the Quality Systems Lead.
This is an onsite role in our Lewisville TX facility.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Conduct training in accordance with developed curriculums in a classroom setting, including Higher-Level courses
- Conduct training of individuals on the production floor
- Evaluate training candidate’s ability to demonstrate skills taught during training programs
- Training Support and Maintenance
- Develops programs, utilizing the Systematic Approach to Training (ADDIE) model, that align to business priorities
- Identifying content and learning materials to develop materials that align to client specifications
- Making necessary changes to lesson plans to improve training
- Developing tools (lesson plans, job aids, PowerPoint) and implementing by due date using the most effective method
- Create Quality Systems schedules for all company departments
- Drive training schedule to completion, based on company needs and priorities
- Maintain Quality Systems records for the company
- Maintains training records to include all attendance and system issues
- Compiles quality, performance, and efficiency data to demonstrate the ongoing effectiveness of training modules
- Assist the Department Manager, as needed, such as resolving issues that arise
- Drive documentation schedule to completion, based on company needs and priorities
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Drive internal audit schedules to completion, based on company needs and priorities
- Verifies auditable information by comparing items to documentation
- Examines records, reports, operating practices, and documentation
- Maintains audit records IAW retention policies
- Reports results and trends to key personnel
- Assists with third-party audits
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- 2 years’ experience in a training, audits or document control environment
- 1 years’ experience performing data analysis (updating dashboards, identifying trends and quality reporting)
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- Associate degree
- Expert Microsoft Office skills
- Prior experience with ECO/Configuration Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with LEAN concepts
Pay Range:
$23.13 - $38.18Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
