Job Purpose

Junior Sales Analysts are integral to the sales team, leveraging data to drive sales performance, understand market trends, and optimize sales activities. They bring a data-driven approach to sales operations, helping the team achieve targets, drive revenue growth, and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

· Sales Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide insights that can help the sales team optimize their strategies and activities.

· Market Research: Conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior, providing valuable insights to guide sales efforts.

· Sales Forecasting: Assisting in sales forecasting by analyzing historical sales data and market trends to predict future sales performance.

· Report Generation: Creating detailed reports and presentations to communicate sales performance, market trends, and sales forecasts to stakeholders.

· Sales Operations Support: Providing support to the sales team by managing sales databases, maintaining sales records, and assisting with sales administration tasks.

· Collaboration: Working closely with other members of the sales team, as well as other departments such as marketing and finance, to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications Required

  • Be graduated or be studying careers related to business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Basic skills in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis, and basic knowledge in preparing presentations in Power Point, Visio, etc.
  • Market Research Skills: Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team, collaborating with other members of the sales team and other departments.
