Job Description

Insurance Processing is responsible for input and setup of client and customer information upon purchasing or subscribing to one or more of the company’s policies, products or services.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Works with company products and services
• Completes coding of applications/payment for entry into computer system.
• Checks that required information/payment is included for the next processing step.
• Resolves simple questions and problems.
• refers more difficult items to higher levels.
• Seeks to clarify those applications/payments that did not have complete information at the first step.
• Uses computerized system for gathering information on the client/customer.
• Respond in a timely manner.
• Follow standard procedures and policies with more senior levels using greater latitude and judgement in responding to customers.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of experience

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to toggle between multiple screens when entering data

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills (verbal/written) with ability to effectively communicate with both colleagues and leadership
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• High attention to detail

Pay Range:

$15.50 - $24.03

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
