As the Director of WMS Product Strategy, you will hold a key leadership role. This role is essential in shaping and executing our company's WMS strategy and innovation initiatives, ensuring that our Supply Chain Teams excel in differentiation, efficiency, and consistency. With a strategic focus aligned with the company's broader objectives, you will collaborate closely with both the IT and Supply Chain teams to bring visionary ideas to fruition.

Preferred candidates are those located in Nashville, TN or Dallas, TX. Remote work is an option for suitable candidates, with a preference for those in the EST/CST time zones.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Lead strategic planning and implementation, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to guarantee that strategy execution reflects broader business objectives and customer needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, utilizing deep business acumen to drive strategic initiatives. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures will be key in aligning different teams towards common goals.
  • Tools and Environment Management: Utilize advanced software and analytical tools to create robust environments for Product teams. Your technical expertise will be crucial in developing systems that enhance strategic planning and milestone tracking.
  • Analytical and Technical Expertise: Conduct complex profitability and cost analyses to inform strategic decisions. Understand how underlying data is used and communicated to integrated systems.
  • Proactive Leadership and Support: Anticipate needs and challenges, offering proactive solutions and support. Your role will involve leading by example, setting a high standard for strategic thinking and problem-solving within the team.
  • Communication and Alignment: Effectively communicate strategies. Your communication skills will be essential in articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Process Improvement and Standardization: Drive process improvements, standardizing approval processes, reporting, and controls. Your expertise will be critical in creating efficient frameworks that enhance innovation and operational excellence.
  • Cultural and Organizational Influence: Serve as a change agent, influencing and aligning leaders towards innovative solutions. Your influence will be vital in fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability across the organization.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in WMS products including strategy, innovation, and leadership roles.
  • Exceptionally strong technical and analytical skills, with a proven track record in complex business analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay Range:

$116,900.00 - $195,300.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
