What's the Role About?
The Grading and Kitting team member plays a vital role and is responsible for the classification, grading, cleaning, and kitting of devices according to the company's defined standards. Reporting to the Grading Team Leader, this position ensures that devices are adequately prepared with the correct accessories and packaging and ready for customer delivery. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to follow defined processes meticulously.
Key Responsibilities:
Device Classification and Grading:
- Perform classification and grading of devices based on the company's established grading standards.
- Inspect devices for defects, damages, or inconsistencies and categorize them accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of graded devices and report any issues or discrepancies to the Grading Team Leader.
Cleaning and Preparation:
- Clean devices thoroughly, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards before kitting.
- Perform final checks on devices to ensure they are free from defects and ready for packaging.
Kitting and Packaging:
- Pack devices with the correct accessories into the appropriate boxes.
- Ensure all kitted products are complete, correctly labelled, and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitting area to streamline the packaging process.
Quality Assurance:
- Follow all quality assurance protocols to ensure that devices meet customer expectations.
- Report any quality issues or non-conformities to the Grading Team Leader promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the grading and kitting process.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company standards and procedures.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in tracking and managing inventory levels of accessories and packaging materials.
- Notify the Grading Team Leader of any shortages or issues with inventory that may impact the kitting process.

- Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse, manufacturing, or retail environment is preferred but optional.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to follow defined processes and procedures accurately.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic knowledge of using computers and inventory management systems.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing for extended periods and handling devices.
