Do you thrive in environments where building rapport and relationships are your main priority? Then read on - we are on the search for a 2 energetic and eager people’s person to join our growing team on 12 month fixed term contracts with a view to permanency.

Working with our key clients and their stores, you will travel around your allocated region to build and maintain relationships, and arm salespeople with the confidence they need to drive sales and performance.

What does a normal day look like?

Every day could be different! Some days you will drive to stores and check in to see how they are going, discuss sales figures and provide one-on-one coaching or on other days you may be travelling to client stores and providing training and coaching on a new product.

This role will provide ongoing support to our client by ensuring Assurant’s programs are rolled out efficiently and ensuring our client deliver a fully compliant product.

Working closely with the product and marketing teams, the Channel Optimisation Manager will develop an escalations model that delivers exceptional support for the client or territory .

Some of your key responsibilities:

  • Organizing and delivering dynamic face-to-face / virtual store and territory based group training sessions that help to upskill our clients in the compliant sale of relevant products and services
  • Observe in-store sales pitch and messaging and provide sindividual specific training as needed to ensure this is compliant and also to maximize sales opportunities
  • Compile, review and distribute store and sales reporting to your portfolio on a periodic basis
  • Actively drive increase in attachment rates with clients to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Support clients within the specified territory to implement new products, updates and changes
  • Manage sales within territory and stores through developing and implementing an active client engagement plan that meets all required KPIs
  • Ensure all required in-store messaging and advertising is displayed, communicated effectively and made available to all consumers

Does this sound like you?

  • Account or relationship management experience
  • Experience in coaching and training customer facing team to deliver improved sales and performance measures
  • A natural ability to build rapport, maintain and build relationships
  • Able to work in a structured and organised way, but hold the ability to be flexible and adjust to changing environments and schedules
  • A high performer who can effectively engage with a wide range of audiences including our clients and their employees, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Can adapt to new work priorities and client requirements, ensuring goals are achieved
  • Enjoy working autonomously, as well as engaging with peers to look for ways to improve and learn
