About the opportunity:

This position is responsible for supporting the VP, Operations APAC through supporting the design, build and implementation of tailored solutions to deliver to new and existing ANZ opportunities. Working in partnership with Product Leaders (both technical and non-technical), Strategic Workstream Leaders and Cross Functional Leaders to design and build capabilities that can be applied locally to meet client’s needs, continuously running assessments to identify areas to improve/enhance existing programs, drafting/ developing grand design for enhancement/ improvement plans, and making sure of the timely delivery of those plans.

Some of your key responsibilities:

  • Engage with our Strategy, Product, Sales, Client Management, IT and Operations teams to understand their roadmaps for program and product delivery to align on solutions needed to deliver on our strategic plan
  • Support end-to-end solution design for reusable, configurable products and services while maintaining a strong customer centric focus
  • Execute the product delivery of complex solutions supporting product vision and culture. Takes a product development type disciplined approach managing all of the critical elements from concept to design, to financial modeling, journey mapping, partner selection, testing, evaluation, and roll out
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of cross functional teams, working closely with local Strategic Account Directors to act as the conduit between Connected Living Australia and the subject matter experts across Assurant and externally (technical and non-technical)
  • Partners with Product Development and Compliance to ensure we operate within regulatory guidelines and internal policy.
  • Develops and cultivates a strong working relationship with other functional areas within the company. Understand their goals and objectives while balancing the priorities of all parties involved in order to meet the business objectives. Ensures there is good communication and coordination with other functional units.
  • Assists with the roll out of the solution to the appropriate markets as directed by strategy, product or capability. Establishes and maintains the working rapport necessary to develop cooperation and effectively integrate area services into the company’s overall business related system

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, or related discipline
  • At minimum 6 years of overall professional experience
  • At minimum 4 years of experience in IT/ business consulting
  • Strong knowledge on what could be done by IT in the business contexts
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and work independently but within strategic framework
  • Proactive and willing to learn and ask questions
  • Excellent Project management skills encompassing; organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to process complex time sensitive data and information from multiple sources, make decisions and communicate actions.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, concurrently; demonstrates professional presence, and demeanor to engage with clients
