  • The AR Officer role is instrumental in helping the finance team establish and maintain internal financial controls and procedures for the company in AR process.

    While Supporting Finance Operations Manager (ANZ), some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Prepare invoices for all relevant entities on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensure invoices are prepared with correct currency and country-specific taxes applied.
  • Support AR supervisor in daily monitoring of bank accounts for all relevant entities to ensure all monies received is allocated accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support AR supervisor Monitor ageing of accounts receivable & follow up amounts outstanding.
  • Support AR supervisor to ensure that aged outstanding amounts for accounts receivable show improvement.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure escalations are resolved.
  • Respond to enquiries from internal and external customers within agreed timelines.
  • Support AR supervisor in contribution to identify process gaps, bringing in process efficiencies and robust process controls.
  • Support AR supervisor Comply with all Global accounting policies and procedures with no deviations from required treatment and issues to be raised with manager for discussion to ensure no surprises
  • Assist with Month-end/Quarter End close process where required.
  • Assist with responses to internal audit, statutory audit, and due diligence queries where required.
  • Education:
    College degree – 4+ years of relevant Experience or equivalent designation required:


    Experience:
    Minimum of 4+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable/GL role
    Effectively working with teams in different locations mostly in remote environment

    Knowledge and Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
    Ability to manage numerous deadlines and prioritise workload accordingly
    Strong problem-solving skills to analyse the data, search for inconsistencies, reconcile inconsistencies and devise solutions to errors.
    Exposure to accounting processes, reconciliation, and client servicing
