The AVP, Supply Chain Solutions will work collaboratively with the CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) team and Connected Living business development team to develop and implement supply chain strategy to support all channels to achieve revenue and growth targets. They will be responsible for establishing new sources for devices in the global marketplace to fuel client demands and drive strategic growth initiative.

The ideal candidate would be local to Dallas TX, but we are open to remote.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Ability to work with Internal auctions, external auctions, third party suppliers and OEM’s to develop effective and reliable partners
  • Source inventory in sufficient quantity to meet yielded finished good demand
  • Monitor aftermarket pricing to understand relative value
  • Engage suppliers and marketplaces to resolve payment, quantity or accuracy issues
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through research and networking
  • Manage team members to place PO’s and bids to drive predictable delivery schedule
  • Optimize and align organizational resources to best support client needs and growth
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends and innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate win-win agreements with clients and partners
  • Utilizing supply chain strategies for maximum growth and impact in view of a continuously evolving environment that will be responsible and accountable for achieving a successful supply chain function
  • Maintain a high level of customer service with internal/external customers and partners to ensure that supply chain procedures are accountable and transparent and include all required information and documentation
  • Work across the connect living team in support of seamless operation to develop common requirements and business processes to leverage key suppliers and overall suppliers’ portfolio
  • Develop processes and tools for the collection, flow and use of quantitative and qualitative data for informed decision making at all levels
  • Strong bias for action and will aggressively pursue opportunities and navigate internal and external challenges
  • Domestic Travel up to 50%

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, Finance, Logistics or related field
  • A minimum of 6 years senior level supply chain management experience
  • 6 years of experience managing teams with demonstrated ability to implement supply chain strategies.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience with logistics including procurement specifications, RFP/RFQs, evaluation of bids, supplier evaluation, negotiation, selection, and contracts
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role in strategic supply chain with wireless industry experience

Pay Range:

$114,400.00 - $191,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
