We are looking for a hands-on application architect (for mobile and web application development team) who can lead the team from architectural and technology delivery perspective of the next gen. customer facing applications for Assurant leveraging Mobile and Digital technologies. The ideal candidate must have at experience as an Architect, delivering large scale application in Mobile and Web space, leveraging technologies like Swift, Android, Flutter, NodeJS, AWS, Azure, ReactJS, ExpressJS, Salesforce etc.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Understand business and delivery priorities and define technology / architectural roadmap and solution

  • Demonstrate deep insight and lead team in adopting and implementing technology best practices.

  • Lead design, design reviews, code reviews, technical delivery.

  • Participate in cross functional discussion and address strategic technology aspects.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 10+ years of experience in software development.

  • Minimum 3+ years as an Architect, delivering large scale application in Mobile and Web space, leveraging diverse technologies

  • At least 3 years as application architect delivering Mobile application, including mobile backends.

  • At least 3 years as application architect delivering Web applications (front end & back end)

  • Experience with combination of these technical areas: iOS (Swift) & Android Apps (Java or Kotlin), Hybrid Apps (Flutter), Firebase, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Community Portal

  • Good working knowledge of REST, XML & JSON, MuleSoft (or any other integration platform)

  • Understanding and preferably hands on experience of AWS or Azure cloud platforms

  • Preferably good understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub.

  • Preferably good understanding of web application development using NodeJS, ReactJS and ExpressJS

Pay Range:

$97,100.00 - $161,900.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
