We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our internal content distribution ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring that our extensive library of content, metadata, and distribution capabilities meet the needs of our internal teams, content brands, and marketplaces.
As the owner of content distribution systems, you will shape the future of how we understand, organize, and deliver content across the company, leveraging innovative search capabilities, machine learning, and data-driven solutions. This is a high-impact role that will empower our internal stakeholders with a robust platform capability and seamless workflows while driving measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for core content distribution channels ensuring scalability and alignment with business objectives
Create and execute a roadmap that enhances the content distribution experience and drives platform growth, focusing on intuitive internal tooling and revenue-driving capabilities
Oversee the design and enhancement of search capabilities for internal platforms, focusing on indexing, ranking, filtering, and relevance tuning to improve discovery and efficiency.
Collaborate with AI, data science, and engineering teams to incorporate advanced analytics, machine learning, and computer vision insights into distribution workflows.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering and other cross-functional partners to develop strategies for scaling all content distribution needs
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends in search, metadata management, and content platforms to inform strategic decision-making.
Leverage data and machine learning signals to align content distribution with demand and signals, optimizing for internal customers and businesses and their revenue and market needs.
Act as a liaison between internal content producers, distribution teams, and operational stakeholders, aligning goals and facilitating seamless communication.
Develop and own a backlog of user stories, prioritizing features based on business value and impact while collaborating with engineering on sprint planning and delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in technical, data-driven product management, with a focus on internal products and platforms.
3+ years of experience managing modern search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr, OpenSearch) and implementing advanced search strategies.
Proven expertise in leveraging embedding models, vector search, and machine learning to enhance search capabilities and content discovery.
Strong understanding of search indexing, ranking algorithms, relevance tuning, with a focus on improving discoverability and efficiency across large-scale catalogs.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, data-driven products that optimize internal workflows and distribution strategies.
Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their applications in improving semantic search, query understanding, and multilingual search optimization
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and forecasting to build business cases, measure performance, and inform decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior leaders across multiple departments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
