What we do: At Domain Financial Services, we provide white-label financial planning solutions to the RIA industry.
Our financial planning technology is highly differentiated from plans typically provided by companies like eMoney, MoneyGuidePro or RightCapital. Rather than sixty pages of statistics and charts, our plans are highly readable and give clients clear actionable steps based on their stated goals.
Utilizing our unique technology, our AI platform is able to turn a client’s documents into a highly personalized financial plan, based on the client’s goals and unique circumstances.
This enables us to expand the market for RIA, enabling them to service smaller account clients. This partnership model, already in place with several large RIAs including Falcon Wealth, Root Financial and Foundry Financial. The Role: VP of Business Development
About the role:
You will be responsible for leading our partnership efforts with RIA partners, enabling them to deliver our financial planning solution to their clients and ensure we deliver an impeccable service to our partners.
What you’ll do with us:
- Deeply understand our service offering and planning process
- Outreach to potential RIA partners
- Nurture and close RIA partnerships
- Maintain relationships to ensure high level of partner satisfaction
- Work closely with our implementation, advisor, product and engineering teams to define, stand up and maintain RIA partners
- Be an active part of the management team
What will set you apart:
- You have deep connections and relationships with fast growing RIAs
- Understand advisors with client growth engines primarily powered by social media platforms (Fb, YouTube, etc.)
- 5 - 7 years of business development or sales experience within large RIAs
- Exceptional communication and sales capabilities
- Able to close deals at the principal level investment acumen and knowledge of broader planning topics
- Strong organizational, leadership, and written communication skills
- BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, or other related major preferred
- Experience using financial services technology
- An interest in the tech industry and/or experience with start-ups
- Consumer fintech experience
