Kasama is currently seeking a Backwait to join our tasting menu dinner service. This service is Thursday – Sunday night.
Daily responsibilities of the Backwait include but are not limited to:

Support and elevate the guest experience through precise, thoughtful service

Set and reset the dining room for each course of the tasting menu

Clear, crumb, and maintain table settings throughout service

Run food and describe dishes

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and back-of-house support areas

Restock service stations and support light beverage and mise en place preparation

Anticipate the needs of servers and guests, acting proactively rather than reactively
Love of hospitality and attention to detail is a must.
Our dinner team operates as a collaborative unit, sharing responsibilities to execute a 13-course experience. The successful candidate will communicate clearly, move with urgency and intention, and take initiative without needing constant direction. Comfort in a high-volume, high-standard service environment is essential. Fine dining experience is necessary. Barista experience is a plus, but not required.
Heavily subsidized health insurance is available for staff members after 90 days.
