The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a culinary professional looking to step into a role that supports and strengthens kitchen operations from behind the scenes.

The Culinary Operations Assistant works closely with the Culinary Director and leadership team to support daily operations, long-term initiatives, and cross-functional projects across the group. You will play a key role in organizing systems, supporting chefs, and ensuring consistency across kitchens.


What You’ll Do
  • Support kitchen operations through organization, communication, and systems management
  • Assist with SOPs, operational materials, and menu documentation
  • Help track inventory, labor, and key operational metrics
  • Support training programs, onboarding materials, and team development
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, events, and culinary initiatives
  • Assist with vendor sourcing, product organization, and tastings
  • Support recruiting efforts (interviews, stages, candidate logistics)

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen or similar environment
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with restaurant systems, inventory, or budgeting is a plus
Requirements
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant
  • Food Handler’s Certification required (or ability to obtain)
