Executive Kitchen & Operations Manager Multi Unit
Growing Hospitality Company | NYC

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, hands-on Executive Kitchen & Operations Manager to join our growing hospitality company in New York City.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can oversee multiple moving parts including café operations, grab-and-go production, commissary kitchen production, catering, and events.
We are not looking for someone who manages from behind a desk.
We are looking for a true operator — someone who leads by example, stays calm under pressure, understands systems and production, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Our company is expanding, creating strong opportunities for long-term growth and advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily Back of House operations across multiple concepts and units
  • Manage kitchen production, prep, line execution, and organization
  • Supervise grab-and-go and commissary production
  • Coordinate catering and event execution
  • Lead, train, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Maintain consistency, quality control, and food safety standards
  • Implement and follow SOPs, recipes, and systems
  • Assist with ordering, inventory, and labor management
  • Work closely with ownership on operational growth and expansion
  • Ensure DOH compliance and kitchen cleanliness at all times
    Qualifications
  • 4+ years of kitchen leadership or culinary operations experience
  • Experience with high-volume café, catering, production, or multi-unit operations preferred
  • Strong leadership, solution driven and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Hands-on management style
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with production kitchens and catering logistics is a major plus
  • NYC Food Handler Certification required or willingness to obtain
  • Flexible schedule required, including some evenings and weekends for events
What We Offer
  • Opportunity to grow with an expanding hospitality company
  • Creative and entrepreneurial work environment
  • Primarily daytime business hours, occasional events and nights
  • Diverse operation including café, catering, events, and production
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Opportunity for long-term advancement into senior operational leadership
Compensation
Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 annually
Higher compensation possible for candidates with strong multi-unit, catering, production, and operational leadership experience.
