Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and disciplined Executive Chef to lead the culinary program for a new, elevated Middle Eastern concept opening in San Francisco, CA. This role requires a chef who can successfully balance refined culinary execution with high-volume operations, while building a strong kitchen culture and operational infrastructure from the ground up.

The ideal candidate is a systems-driven leader with a strong foundation in structured restaurant groups, capable of delivering consistent, high-quality cuisine in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Background in well-regarded, operationally structured restaurant groups known for strong culinary and service standards
• Experience leading kitchens with meaningful volume, beyond purely tasting menu environments
• Proven ability to oversee food cost, labor management, purchasing, and inventory systems
• Strong experience building and maintaining SOPs, kitchen systems, and operational frameworks
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development, accountability, and culture building

Culinary Focus

Experience with Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine is highly valued but not required. Candidates without direct experience should demonstrate a genuine, informed interest in the cuisine, including an understanding of its ingredients, techniques, and cultural context.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $120,000 annually
• Bonus: Performance-based bonus structure
