Babychan is looking hire an AM Baker!

We're looking for a skilled and passionate AM Baker to join our team. You'll be the heartbeat of our morning production, responsible for crafting high-quality breads and pastries that set the tone for the day.

Responsibilities

• Mix, shape, proof, and bake shokupan to a consistent, high standard
• Bake and decorate pastries and laminated breads (croissants, danishes, etc.)
• Follow recipes and production schedules accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards before going to the display case
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Communicate with the team on daily production needs and any issues

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a professional bakery setting, with hands-on experience in bread baking and laminated doughs
• Familiarity with Japanese-style milk bread (shokupan) is a strong plus
• Comfortable working early mornings and weekends consistently
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of timing and organization
• A team player who takes pride in their craft
