Assistant Floor ManagerLocation: Spring Lake, NJ
Position Type: Full-Time / Hourly
Compensation: Hourly + Paid Time Off + Growth Opportunities
We are seeking a hands-on, hospitality-driven Assistant Floor Manager to support daily front-of-house operations. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values team development, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead onboarding and training of all front-of-house team members
- Train all FOH positions (hosts, servers, bartenders, runners, support staff)
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings
- Manage tip reporting and payroll support
- Communicate directly with GM, Chef, and Kitchen team
- Assist with scheduling and shift coverage
- Participate in weekly management meetings
- Drive guest relations and service excellence
- Maintain service standards and operational flow
- Support team accountability and culture
- Previous restaurant leadership experience
- Strong FOH operational knowledge
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and team development
