Superfolie is a jewel box wine bar just off Rittenhouse Square looking for a cook to join the team! This is a professional environment grounded in mutual respect across front and back of house operations; we work hard, we laugh, we listen. The ideal candidate will possess an ability to take direction, consistently deliver menu items and communicate productively with a small team and boast a stable job history that demonstrates commitment.

We are hiring a cook for our small, non vented kitchen. The menu features 10-12 items that rotate seasonally and include mostly cold, small plates that feature cheese & charcuterie, salads & crudos and other ingredient driven small plates. This position requires light prep, beginner level knife work, an eye for plating and light dishwashing. You will be the number two cook working alongside the chef with shifts that last 6-9 hours per day.

EXPECTATIONS:
  • measuring and portioning ingredients, vinaigrettes & sauces.
  • Opening and set up on scheduled days and organizing tasks/closing duties.
  • Prep work including preparing house recipes for condiments, salads, slicing fresh fish, charcuterie and cheese.
  • Light daily cleaning tasks as expected with prep work.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday : 4pm to 10pm
Friday - Saturday : 3pm to 11pm

Part or full time position available immediately. Some weekend availability preferred.
