Welcome to Rollcraft, where we focus on the art of the handroll. Located in the heart of the East Village, our intimate counter-only spot is designed for an immersive dining experience, serving fresh-to-order temaki featuring crispy nori, warm seasoned rice, and premium seafood prepared directly in front of you. Inspired by the fast-paced, high-quality, and casual dining scene of NYC, our mission is to provide an interactive, expertly paced meal.
We are seeking Temaki Chefs for our new restaurant. Prior handroll/Japanese cuisine experience is welcome but not required. We will train any candidate eager to learn! Team members in this position will work an average of 30 - 35 hours/week. Open availability is required.
The Details
- Role: Temaki Chef
- Responsibilities: Make handrolls for guests, check and manage the quality of the ingredients, maintain a clean station, interact with guests
- Availability: Full availability required
- Pay: Competitive hourly wages
