Job Details
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in opening and closing procedures to prepare the store for service and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout.
- Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures meet or exceed NYC Department of Health and OSHA standards.
- Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, waste, and recyclables.
- Maintain accurate sanitation logs and ensure readiness for health inspections at all times.
- Monitor dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment to ensure proper function and chemical levels.
- Manage the flow of dishware, and utensils to support kitchen and service operations.
- Oversee deep-cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, storage areas, and facilities.
- Ensure loading dock, storage, and back-of-house areas remain safe, clean, and organized.
- Continuously clean and sanitize restroom surfaces, sinks, stalls, and mirrors.
- Restock toiletries including candles, soap, paper towels, tissue, hygeine products and fragrance items.
- Empty wastebaskets and hygiene bins regularly throughout shift.
- Ensure wet floor signs are placed to prevent slips.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum (1) year in an upscale or similar position
- Good time-management and teamwork skills
- Pride in appearance.
- Warm and professional in communicating with team.
- Constantly strive to improve personal and professional development.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
