The Nightlife Supervisor works closely with management, door teams, bartenders, servers, hosts, and security to ensure the room operates smoothly while maintaining the tone, energy, and standards of the Cattail experience. This is a hands-on floor leadership position requiring strong operational awareness, guest engagement, and the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee nightly floor operations during service
  • Maintain a strong and visible presence throughout the venue
  • Support staff performance, organization, and communication during service
  • Monitor guest experience and proactively address issues before escalation
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, table flow, seating, and nightlife pacing
  • Partner closely with door/security teams to maintain professionalism and guest standards
  • Ensure cleanliness, readiness, and overall presentation of the space throughout the night
  • Help maintain service standards, hospitality culture, and team accountability
  • Communicate effectively with managers regarding operational or guest-related issues
  • Support opening and closing procedures as needed
Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, composed, and hospitality-driven demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions quickly in fast-paced environments
  • Strong awareness of guest experience, room energy, and operational flow
  • Flexible schedule with late night and weekend availability required
  • NYC nightlife and luxury hospitality experience strongly preferred
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who understands that great nightlife hospitality is about more than crowd management — it is about creating energy, anticipation, warmth, and consistency while maintaining operational discipline behind the scenes. The right candidate is confident without ego, highly observant, detail-oriented, and naturally hospitality-forward.
