    Bartenders at Tacombi play a key role in delivering exceptional Mexican Hospitality by crafting high-quality beverages and creating memorable guest experiences at the bar and throughout the dining room. As a frontline representative of the Tacombi brand, you help ensure smooth service, warm interactions, and an energized environment that reflects our mission and cultural hospitality standards.

    You bring enthusiasm, attentiveness, and pride to every shift, helping guests feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated.


    Responsibilities Include:

    Hospitality & Guest Service

    • Deliver warm, attentive, and genuine hospitality to every guest at the bar and in the dining room.
    • Greet guests promptly, guide them through beverage and food menus, and take orders accurately.
    • Prepare and serve beverages with precision, consistency, and attention to presentation.
    • Anticipate guest needs throughout their visit and provide thoughtful recommendations based on strong product knowledge.
    • Ensure that every guest receives the true Tacombi experience from arrival to fond farewell.
    • Resolve guest concerns with courtesy, urgency, and sound judgment, escalating to a manager when needed.

    Operational Excellence

    • Uphold Tacombi’s service culture and follow all Steps of Service with consistency.
    • Maintain clean, organized, and fully prepared bar stations before, during, and after service.
    • Set up and stock the bar, ensuring all tools, garnishes, and ingredients are ready for service.
    • Prepare all beverages in accordance with Tacombi recipes, standards, and glassware guidelines.
    • Fulfill drink orders for both bar guests and dining room service efficiently and accurately.
    • Complete side work such as restocking, prep, and station organization.
    • Ensure the bar and surrounding service areas remain clean, tidy, and guest-ready at all times.
    • Accurately process payments and manage tabs using Toast or other POS systems.
    • Follow all food safety protocols, alcohol service laws, Department of Health regulations, and Tacombi hospitality standards.

    Brand & Cultural Hospitality

    • Represent Tacombi with positivity, warmth, and pride.
    • Serve as an ambassador of our mission by sharing knowledge of our brand values, beverage program, and menu offerings.
    • Maintain professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct throughout every shift.

    You Should Have:

    • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • 1–2+ years of bartending experience preferred.
    • A genuine passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences.
    • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging demeanor.
    • Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, with a willingness to learn Tacombi’s beverage program.
    • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team.
    • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
    • English/Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
    • Familiarity with Toast or other POS systems is preferred.

    Physical Expectations:

    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as needed.
    • Comfort working in environments with heat, humidity, cold storage, and exposure to common allergens, with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to deliver safe, efficient service, with or without reasonable accommodation.
